Having started within the construction industry from leaving school, I have over 30 years of on-site experience, in a variety of roles from lower-level positions to senior managerial posts, working on some of the biggest projects in the UK during this time.
This has allowed me the opportunity to gain the knowledge, experience, skill set and accreditations within those fields and has played a vital role in my own personal development, taking the positives and combining them with new innovative ideas brought together by the team will help the company move forward.
From major rail infrastructure projects, sub stations, minor civils, utilities and asset surveys, I bring a wealth of knowledge and balance to the team.
As the Managing Director of the company, its fundamental to me that everyone who works on behalf of UKSTE, understands we all have an active role in providing the high level of service that will help deliver the projects to our clients, and we are all an integral part of how we can grow the business in the coming years.
Head Of Projects
Kevin has over 20 years experience in a Survey and Engineering capacity and has worked in a variety of roles including Railway, Construction and Offshore Environments. As well as Survey and Dimensional Control, Kevin has advanced knowledge of CAD and Laserscanning to compliment his experience.
Starting out with a small Land Surveyor Consultancy he then progressed to a position with Babtie Group, later to be incorporated into Jacobs Engineering. The next step was in the Offshore sector where he was undertaking larger scale projects as an Engineering Surveyor and later Survey Coordinator at an onshore facility overseeing a team of surveyors and ensuring quality control.
The last 7 years has seen Kevin working predominantly within the rail sector on several Electrification and Civils Projects including GWEP, as a Monitoring Coordinator, Senior Engineer on the H2M Electrification and Station Upgrades, EGIP (Edinburgh to Glasgow Improvement Project), Midland Mainline Electrification and more recently HS2 where he has been Principal Surveyor on Structure Examinations and Inspections.

Head Of Engineering
Our Head of Engineering is an accomplished Senior Civil Design Engineer holding a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering.
He has been involved in major projects across the UK beginning his career as a Structural Engineer in Construction. He soon moved into the Transport sector and has undertaken numerous large projects for ARCADIS including Holytown to Midcalder Upgrade as Civil Engineer and GEML Capacity Improvement Scheme as a Civil Engineer and the Structures Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE). More recently he has undertaken the CRE role for West Ealing Station on Crossrail.
Recently he and his team have been undertaking Inspection for Assessments which includes backwards engineering OLE Structures to create accurate as built drawings for the design team as part of the HS2 Structures Examinations and Assessments.
